George W. Bush - Governor, President, Painter?

That's right folks! George W. Bush is still POTUS. Nope, not President of the United States, but Painter of the United States.

While some ex-Presidents are still active (i.e. Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton) on the world stage, others such as George W. Bush has decided to take the low key approach. In fact, he's practically non-existent. In the end, who can blame him. He didn't exactly leave office with the highest approval rating and the last thing we want is to be reminded of him on a daily basis.

It's also telling that during the last Presidential Election, no one called on him to get his endorsement. I will say that I am not his biggest fan when he was office, but have said that while I wouldn't want him as my President, I wouldn't mind having a beer with him in a bar. He'd probably be pretty cool to hang out with and chew the shit.

I heard rumors and it seems to be confirmed now that he's become quite the painter in his retirement age. He also seems to be quite good at it. I saw him in a brief interview on the news this morning and I will admit it was nice seeing him on TV. I'm just thankful that he can't make any decisions that will affect the lives of thousands.

I leave you with my favorite painting he has done. Let's just hope he wasn't in the tub too long or shrinkage might occur.
